Sans les Burning Heads, peu d'entre nous seraient là aujourd'hui ! Depuis 25 ans, les orléanais défendent la flamme du punk rock avec ardeur, classe et intégrité. Leur musique et leur parcours ont inspiré des centaines voire même des milliers de groupes. Il était temps de leur rendre hommage. Alors qu'ils sont plus en forme que jamais et viennent de sortir "Choose Your Trap", un double album, 15 groupes reprennent intégralement et dans l'ordre leur premier disque paru en 1992. En bonus, quelques titres de singles datant de cette époque ont aussi été revisités. Se sont prêtés au jeu : Ravi, Uncommonmenfrommars (avec leur dernier enregistrement avant qu'ils ne se séparent), Flying Donuts, Dead Pop Club avec Sylvain ex-Second Rate au chant, Gravity Slaves, Hogwash, Dirty Fonzy, Forest Pooky, The Rebel Assholes, Dissidence Radio mais aussi des plus anciens qui ont partagé la scène d'innombrables fois avec eux depuis les années 90, à savoir Sleeppers, High Tone, Lionel ex-Portobello Bones et son projet Copenhagen, sans oublier Hugo ex-Garlic Frog Diet aujourd'hui dans Dot Dash!.

15 bands pay tribute to the Burning Heads' first album!
Without Burning Heads, a few of us wouldn't be here today! For the last 25 years, the band from Orléans (France) has strongly defended the flame of punk rock, with class and integrity. Their music and career have inspired hundreds or even thousands of bands. Time has come to pay them tribute. Although they still are in great shape - they have just issued a double album called "Choose Your Trap" - , 15 bands are covering their full first album released in 1992, respecting the order of the tracklist. As a bonus, some tracks taken from singles dated from the same period have also been revisited. The following have entered the game: Ravi, Uncommonmenfrommars (with their latest recording before they split), Flying Donuts, Dead Pop Club featuring Sylvain ex-Second Rate on vocals, Gravity Slaves, Hogwash, Dirty Fonzy, Forest Pooky, The Rebel Assholes, Dissidence Radio but also the oldies who got to share the stage with them a million times since the 90's, such as Sleeppers, High Tone, Lionel ex-Portobello Bones and his Copenhagen project, not to mention Hugo ex-Garlic Frog Diet, currently member of Dot Dash!.
