Love And Noise Experiment (LANE) est né du désir de Pierre-Yves Sourice de donner vie à quelques morceaux qu’il avait sous le coude. L’ex bassiste des Thugs s’entoure alors de son fils Felix à la guitare, des frères Belin (Daria) à la guitare et à la batterie, et d’Eric Sourice au chant et à la guitare, pour faire du groupe un consortium issu de deux grandes familles angevines auquel chaque membre apporte son expérience et son vécu.
